How SVGpedia collects, uses, and protects information when you use our free SVG icon library.
SVGpedia is a free icon library. We believe you should know exactly what happens with your information when you visit this site — so this policy is written in plain language, not legal boilerplate.
You do not need to create an account, sign in, or hand over any personal details to use SVGpedia. Browsing, searching, and downloading icons is entirely anonymous.

SVGpedia ("we", "us", "our") operates svgpedia.com — a free library of icons and vector graphics for personal and commercial use.
Every website on the internet — including this one — receives some basic information from your device automatically, simply as a result of how the web works. When you open a page on SVGpedia, our servers record:
We use this information only to keep the site running and to fix problems. We do not use it to identify you personally or build a profile of your activity.
We do not collect — and have no interest in collecting — the following:
SVGpedia lets you save icons to come back to later. When you save an icon, that information is stored privately inside your own browser — it never leaves your device and never reaches our servers.
We genuinely cannot see which icons you have saved. To clear your saved icons, simply clear your browser's saved data for this site.
When you type something into the search bar, that search term is sent to our servers so we can find matching icons — this is unavoidable for search to work.
We do not keep a record of what you searched linked to who you are. Your search is treated the same as any other page visit.
SVGpedia itself does not place cookies on your device. However, Google — through the analytics and advertising services we use — does place cookies in your browser. These cookies allow Google to count visits, recognise your browser on future visits, and (for advertising) show you ads that are relevant to your interests.
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from using SVGpedia, but it may affect how ads and usage measurements work.
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use SVGpedia — for example, which pages are visited most, how long people stay, and roughly where in the world our visitors come from. This helps us make the site better.
Google Analytics works by placing a small marker in your browser. It records your visit and sends anonymised information back to Google. We only see summary reports — we cannot identify you personally from this data.
If you would rather not be counted by Google Analytics, you can install the free Google Analytics opt-out tool for your browser, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
SVGpedia shows advertisements provided by Google AdSense. The ads help us keep the library free for everyone.
Google AdSense may use information about websites you have visited — gathered through its own cookies placed across many sites on the internet — to show you ads that match your interests. This is sometimes called personalised advertising.
You can review and adjust what Google uses to choose ads for you at adssettings.google.com. You can also opt out of personalised ads entirely — you will still see ads on SVGpedia, but they will not be chosen based on your browsing history.
For more information on how Google handles data for advertising, see google.com/policies/privacy/partners.
We use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to monitor how SVGpedia appears in Google and Bing search results and to spot any technical issues that might affect search visibility.
These are tools intended for website owners, not visitors. They work with data that Google and Bing already gather when they crawl and index websites — they do not collect any new information from your visits to SVGpedia.
Beyond Google (covered above), we rely on a handful of other trusted companies to keep the site online. By using SVGpedia, your visit may also pass through their systems:
Vercel powers the website itself. When you load a page, Vercel's servers handle the request and may log basic visit information such as your IP address. You can read their privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Neon stores our icon database — the titles, artwork, and collection information you see on the site. It holds no information about visitors.
Cloudflare delivers the preview images you see when browsing icons. When an image loads, Cloudflare handles that request and may log basic visit information. You can read their privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
The fonts used on this site are downloaded and hosted by us directly. Your browser fetches them from our own servers — it does not contact any font provider when you visit SVGpedia.
The information described in this policy is used for:
We do not sell your information. The parties who may receive data as part of running SVGpedia are:
We do not keep long-term records of individual visitors. The companies that process visit information typically hold it for 30 to 90 days before it is deleted automatically. Google Analytics retains data for up to 14 months by default; this can be adjusted in our account settings.
Any icons you have saved in your browser stay there until you choose to clear them.
All connections to SVGpedia are encrypted, so information passed between your browser and our servers is protected in transit.
No website can guarantee perfect security, but we keep our setup simple and minimal — the less data we hold, the less there is to protect.
SVGpedia is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please get in touch and we will remove it.
Some icon pages may link to the original source or creator's website. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. We recommend reading the privacy policy of any site you visit.
If we update this policy, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For any significant changes, we will make the update clearly visible on the site.
If you have any questions about this policy or how your information is handled, you can reach us at: privacy@svgpedia.com
